Zero to one · Voice AI platform

A voice AI platform that did not exist, built and taken to market.

Complete zero to one development of a novel AI voice platform: agents that run outbound and inbound calls, qualify leads and hand them to a sales team. There was no product, no architecture and no team when this started.
Pre-seed raised at a $5M valuation

THE SITUATION

The idea was a category that barely existed yet, which meant there was no reference architecture to copy and no established answer for what the first version should contain, or for how it should be sold. Getting either wrong would have cost a year.

WHAT WE DID

Product strategy before any code. What the agents would do, who they were for, and the long list of things that would not be in version one.

Platform build · Cinema IoT, ad delivery and AI

One cinema partner in closed beta, then 500 across 51 countries.

Worked directly with Guillermo Younger Jr, Chief Executive Officer

CIELO monitors cinema equipment, delivers advertising and moves the encrypted keys that let a film play. It was in closed beta with a single exhibitor, one company running cinemas in the United States. We built products on it, opened it to markets that had no reliable way to receive content, and cut what it cost to run.

Series A raised at an $8M valuation

THE SITUATION

A platform running for one partner in one country is a pilot, not a business. Getting out of that is two problems at once: it has to keep producing new products to stay worth buying, and it has to cost less to build every year or the economics never close. Most teams pick one and lose the other.

WHAT WE DID

CIELO QR, CIELO Cine AI and CIELO CinePredict. Each one shipped as its own product on the platform. QR for what happens in the auditorium, Cine AI to answer questions of the data in plain language, and CinePredict to call equipment failures before the show stops rather than after.

Client platform · Recruiting technology

A staffing firm that stopped waiting for the job order.

Worked directly with Leo Guevara, Chief Executive Officer
ttg OPT is the platform behind ttg Talent Solutions, a Coral Gables talent firm working across executive search, professional recruiting, interim, light industrial and healthcare staffing. We built the product that changed how their recruiters go to market.
Patented and marketed as ttg OPT

THE SITUATION

Staffing is a reactive business by default. A client opens a role, the firm goes looking, and every competitor starts the same race on the same day. ttg had the better candidates first and no way to put them in front of a client before a job existed.

WHAT WE DID

A live view of the top candidates who are available right now and not yet attached to any role, with a rule that candidates expire rather than sit there going stale. It is the difference between a database and a shortlist somebody will act on.

Client platform · Wholesale apparel

The right catalog, for the right buyer, and five times the sales.

Worked directly with Samuel Assis, Chief Executive Officer, and Etan Narkis, Chief Operating Officer

Apolo imports, exports and distributes clothing out of the Colon Free Zone in Panama, selling its own brands and licensed lines to retailers and resellers across many countries. We built the system its salespeople use to put together a catalog for one specific client and send it straight to them, ready to order from.

Five times the sales

THE SITUATION

Getting a catalog in front of a customer was the hard part. A salesperson who knows exactly what a particular buyer stocks had no practical way to put that part of the range in front of them, so customers got sent whatever was easiest to send. Then ordering meant going back through the salesperson anyway.

WHAT WE DID

Apolo told us what the business needed and reviewed what came back. Everything in between was ours: design, development, integrations, user acceptance testing and final delivery. They stayed the customer rather than becoming the project manager.

Founder experience

Where the enterprise instinct comes from.

Work our founder did before Zero to 1 Experts, as an employee and under direct contract. A good deal of what this firm argues about enterprise products, migrations and launches was learned in it.
Product management · Customer satisfaction for MyAccount
Three years in product management at Dell Technologies, working on platforms used across the business and leading the customer satisfaction teams for the MyAccount experience, alongside migrations that moved a Fortune 100 organisation off systems it already depended on.

Migration is the hard part

Replacing something a large organisation already runs on is a different discipline from building something new. Everything has a dependency, and none of it is allowed to stop while you work.

Nothing ships without passing review

At this scale a product meets security, architecture and procurement before it meets a user. Designing for that from the first decision is the only version that gets through.

Led customer satisfaction for MyAccount

Owning customer satisfaction, or CSAT, for an account experience used at Dell scale. Finding where an experience quietly frustrates people and then owning the changes that fix it is a different job from shipping features, and most teams have nobody doing it.

Internal products compete for budget

A platform that saves people time has to win against one that makes money. Knowing how that argument is actually won inside a large company is why the enterprise page reads the way it does.

Direct contract engagement
Contracted directly to work on taking Straight Talk Wireless and SafeLink Wireless to market, two no-contract mobile brands launched nationally to very different customers.

Launch, not iteration

There is no quiet beta when a brand goes live across a national footprint. The first version is the only version anybody sees.

Two brands on shared systems

Straight Talk and SafeLink served different customers under different rules on the same infrastructure. Making one platform serve both without either becoming a permanent special case is the same problem every enterprise product eventually has.

Systems that had to hold

Activation, billing and support carried real volume from the first weekend rather than growing into it.

What breaks when everybody arrives at once

Most of what this firm says about launch risk and reliability under sudden load was learned here.

You bring the idea.
We bring the team to build it right.
